johnpiggott
Only certain areas I fly where my Aircraft Carriers are will freeze the frame the sound is not affected. VISUAL BASIC error will appear and I have to restart it. Can anyone hope with a solution?
ronzie
It is complex to trouble shoot. It indicates a code routine is missing. If the carriers have an acting component such as the arresting cable or catapult it could be coding error there. johnhinson
. . . or it could be non-standard AI aircraft with special effects. I don't know anything about aircraft carriers but do thry have AI aircraft landing/taking off? It might be worth disabling AI for testing purposes to rule that out as a possibility. tiger1962
It could also be a corrupted Visual Basic installation. There are several of them, in 32-bit and 64-bit versions, it wouldn't harm your PC to download and re-install them all from here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads Tim Wright "The older I get, the better I was..."
