FSX Illinois ANG Boeing KC-97L. This is a repaint of a KC-97 L of the 108th ARS, Illinois Air National Guard. The 108th became the first ANG Squadron to be assigned to the Air Refueling role in 1961, flying KC-97F/G's. In 1964, one of the KC-97G's became the first to be converted to a KC-97L prototype. This led to all ANG KC-97 tankers to be converted to KC-97L's. KC-97L's were the 108th's mission aircraft from 1964-1976. In December 1976, the 108th received KC-135A's as the mission aircraft.
