FS98 DeHavilland Hornet F Mk 3. The de Havilland Hornet was the ultimate in piston-engined fighter design. With over 4000 hp available, it was the fastest piston-engined aircraft produced as a working aeroplane. The model depicts WF966, the last but one F Mk 3 to be built, which served with 45 Squadron based at Tengah, Singapore, but carries the markings of 19 Squadron. By Chris Lampard.
