X-Plane 11.50+ Rees Spitfire Pup2Seat 1.0. This is a simple Plane Maker prototype for a new two seat version of the well-loved JJ & Rees Spitfire Pup: JJ_AND_REES_SPITFIRE_PUP.ZIP. It is a fast aerobat averaging 250 mph and is easy to fly, due to it having a larger more stable airframe. It is a great aerobatic training aircraft, having full controls, and full instruments, at both front and back tandem seats. The engine is a Lycoming air-cooled flat 8-cylinder of 400 hp. X-Plane 11.50+ Rees Twinfire 1.0
X-Plane 11.50+ Rees Twinfire 1.0. The Rees Twinfire has two engines, and four seats, and is fully aerobatic. It uses wing shapes from the Supermarine Spitfire. The engines are Lycoming 8-cylinder air-cooled of 400hp, giving it an average speed of 250mph. Front seats are occupied by pilot and co-pilot. Both have full controls and full instruments. Two back seats are for passengers. It is actually very easy to takeoff, fly as an aerobat, and land safely. The engine sounds of the Twinfire have been edited in stereo, from start-up to normal running, to single engine failure. Slightly different engines are heard left and right, creating a full 3D soundscape, with a charismatic twin engine throb. This first version was designed as the complete best flight behaviour model in Plane Maker. It has a slightly rough appearance, with a 2D instrument panel. X-Plane 11.50+ Rees Tweety Mk2 1.0. This is Mk2 of the exciting Rees Tweety aerobatic biplane. Higher powered; faster; more refined handling. Mk2 is actually easier to take-off, fly, and land. Powered by a Rotec R3600 9-cylinder radial engine of 150 HP. Good for 170 mph sea-level. Available with a wide choice of sixteen livery colours. Cockpit is 2D. Use inside view forward with 2D panel. Exterior model is the full final Plane Maker flight model. A future more detailed, 3D rendered, version is likely. It will have smoother curves on the body and wings. X-Plane 11 JJ And Rees Spitfire Pup 2.0. In collaboration with Clive Rees, I release the JJ and Rees Spitfire Pup! Clive designed this aircraft in 2021 based on the 1936 Supermarine Spitfire. The Pup is an agile aerobat based on one of the greatest fighters of World War 2. From the sleek lines to the iconic elliptical wing planform, the Pup takes the best of the Spitfire and takes it to the extreme, without troublesome ground handling or difficult forward visibility. Built with modern construction techniques, and without all of the heavy armament, the Pup delivers ease of handling, crisp roll rates, and great visibility. The Pup is easy to land—the pilot sits high in the cockpit with excellent forward visibility on taxi, takeoff, and landing, and handling is a breeze (for a taildragger!). The Pup is a perfect airplane to explore aerobatic flight and air racing. With top speeds well in excess of 200 mph, the Pup will satisfy your need for speed, and can slow down and land with ease. Updates include more detailed textures, lightning, some normal maps on the fuselage, and flight model/performance tweaks to maximise cub-ness for your X-Plane 11 experience. Thanks to Adrian (awall86) for the awesome gauges! Thanks also to Antonio (afnavarro) for his work with the prop, some of the normals, and the pilot figure! Note: I am aware of some minor issues with the mag switch going back to 'both' from 'off' and is trying to fix it. X-Plane Piper PA22 G-ARDT 1.0. This is a special request from one of our community members for a G-ARDT Piper PA22 Pacer livery. The aircraft operated from Lerwick Tingwall airport (EGET) in the north of Scotland and our member had flown in it. Unfortunately, on the 18th of May 2008, the aircraft was on approach at Northside, 5 miles SW of Aberdeen when pilot error caused it to crash. The aircraft touched down, ran into obstacles and sustained substantial damage. Our member recalls the aircraft which was subsequently scrapped and so asked me to repaint it for the Alabeo PA22. The Van's RV12 is an American two-seat, single-engine, low-wing homebuilt airplane eligible for the U.S. E-LSA category, sold in kit form and as a complete ready-to-fly aircraft by Van's Aircraft of Aurora, Oregon. X-Plane Harbour Air DHC-3 Otter C-FSUB 1.0. This repaint is for the RW Designs single piston Otter. C-FSUB wore many liveries in its day as a piston Otter. First starting out as production number 2 for the RCAF, the aircraft was then sold through many Pacific north-western airlines until it was bought by Harbour Air around the 1990's. There were a few versions of the Harbour Air classic scheme. The one I have tried to replicate is the first iteration after Harbour Air purchased the aircraft. I have seen many images of the airplane on straight floats and wheels under the Harbour Air livery. The aircraft then flew for Air Mont-Laurier until it was brought back to the west coast to be fitted with the turbo conversion. X-Plane DA40 (9M-SWX) 1.0. This is a livery for the Alabeo DA40. I saw a couple of these doing some circuits on a holiday and couldn't resist coming up with a fictional livery of my own. Well really just the addition of a fictitious Malaysian tail number and flag to have fun with. If you want something more modern to scoot about in, you can't go wrong with the DA40 from Alabeo. Many thanks to the Alabeo team for allowing modifications to their original textures, lovely job folks and all credit to them. If you don't have this aircraft it is well worth considering.
