    Review: Aerosoft - Frankfurt Airport For X-Plane

    The busiest airport in Germany, Frankfurt Airport, is now available for X-Plane 11 from Aerosoft. Frankfurt XP conveys the unique feeling of a large international airport. Reviewer Paul Mort appreciated the attention to detail on this vast airport, only complaining about a lack of people. He found the scenery well laid out, with good static aircraft, objects, vehicles, buildings, etc.

    KTVL Lake Tahoe Airport is yet another example of the extreme detail that Orbx includes in every one of their scenery packages. Located in a very scenic area of California, Lake Tahoe is a beautiful destination, reports reviewer Ray Andersen. The airport and the surrounding region comes to life and includes special Orbx features like PeopleFlow to make it even more alive.

    Review: Aerosoft - Airport Lugano For X-Plane 11

    X-Plane 11 pilots will enjoy flying into Airport Lugano in Switzerland, reports reviewer Stuart McGregor. This scenic location from Aerosoft offers a detailed airport, hi-res photo textures on 3D models, ground vehicles with appropriate lanes, X-Life compatibility and much more. It's a quality product with a good representation of the airport, excellent details, authentic lighting and some challenging approaches.

    CAP Puerto Rico Hurricane Maria Recovery Mission Part 2

    Following on from his earlier article introducing the Civil Air Patrol (CAP), Tony Vallillo offers this story of a real CAP mission. As anyone who follows the news is aware, Puerto Rico was hit hard by Hurricane Maria and CAP was called in to help. This involved getting a light plane to the island in order to conduct a variety of photo recon flights. Tony tells the story of how he and other CAP members accomplished this mission, one you can duplicate with your flight simulator. Part 2 continues the mission, with the plane and crew now on the island and ready to get to work.

    Review: Carenado - X-Plane 11 DO228 100 HD Series

    Carenado brings the Dorner DO228 100 HD Series to X-Plane with their usual features, such as engine dynamics designed specifically for XP11. It also features physically Based Rendering materials and textures throughout, six HD liveries, PDF checklists, tables, etc. and more. Reviewer Stuart McGregor was pleased with the results and finds himself hooked on flying the DO228.

    Review: Twentynine Palms KTNP Airport

    Twentynine Palms KTNP Airport is the first project of Aerosoft's scenery development company 29Palms Scenery Design and JaraNet for X-Plane 10. It offers a whole new level of detail and realism, based on many references from the real airport. Reviewer Luke Webber was pleased with the results, finding it to be a very nice airport to visit.

    Civil Air Patrol Part One - USAF Auxiliary

Tony Vallillo found his answer in the Civil Air Patrol, an auxiliary of the USAF that conducts search and rescue and other missions. It gives his flying a purpose beyond the hunt for the hundred dollar hamburger.     EventAir Teeing It Up For 1st Annual Golf Tournament

    Beginning March 1, it will be time to "tee it up" so to speak, as 1st Annual EventAir Golf Tournament begins. It's pretty simple -- you fly 18 flights, each of which represents a "hole" on the course and the result of your flight is used as your score to par on that hole. If you complete the 18 flights, your cumulative score for all the flights counts as your score for the tournament!

    "F-16 Day” Declared On February 16

    FlightSimCon 2018, the original and most successful annual aviation and flight simulation exposition and conference, declares February 16 to be “F-16 Day” in honor of the famous aircraft.     Perfect Flight - FSX Missions LTU

    LTU Lufttransport-Unternehmen GmbH, was a German leisure airline headquartered in Düsseldorf. It operated medium and long-haul routes and maintained hubs at Düsseldorf Airport, Munich Airport and Berlin-Tegel Airport. LTU was acquired by Air Berlin in 2007. The package, designed by Perfect Flight to work with FSX and Prepar3D. recreates some of the flights included in the old timetable.
