    Review: Orbx - EU Germany North

    EU Germany North from Orbx enhances the scenery of the northern half of Germany and even somewhat behind. It works with FSX and Prepar3D and gives five season textures, plus hand-placed objects, new autogen, VFR scenery and more.     Just Flight, in partnership with Thranda Design, now offer the PA-28-161 Warrior II for X-Plane 11. It features PBR materials with real-time environment reflections for superb quality and realism, 4096 x 4096 textures for the highest possible texture clarity and numerous animations including a multi-animation passenger door that, when open, responds to G-forces and air resistance. Reviewer Stuart McGregor found that the plane met all his expectations and then some.

    Review: Taburet - Night XP UK and Ireland

    While posted as a review, this article about Night XP UK and Ireland from Taburet is more of a warning from author Rene Bruun that you need to be careful with what you purchase. He discovered too late that his machine did not meet the requirements for this add-on and not surprisingly his results were less than satisfactory. With the right hardware, this add-on should make a nice improvement to your night flying.

    Review: Aerosoft - Antonov An-2

    The Antonov An-2 "Colt" or "Anushka" is a 1950's era utility biplane that served in a variety of roles and was so useful it was built up to 2001. The Aerosoft version for FSX and P3D v4.1 features complex modelling with many animations, fully functional systems, hi def cockpit, realistic flight model and much more. Reviewer Meng Yu finds it to be well modelled and fun to fly.

    Review: Carenado - C90 King Air for X-Plane 11

    X-Plane 11 pilots can now turn to Carenado for a nice version of the C90 King Air, a popular twin turboprop executive aircraft. This version is especially designed for XP11 with custom flight physics. It also features PBR materials authored with industry-standard software, ice and rain effects, six liveries and much more. Although not perfect, reviewer Rohan Nair enjoyed flying the plane.

    The Douglas DC-8 was one of the aircraft that brought long distance air travel to the masses. For a long time, we lacked these important aircraft in our simulators but this add-on for Prepar3D v4 from Aerosoft adds a version to your virtual hangar that is not only looking and sounding good, but also offers a good system depth. Every real pilot will enjoy navigating by VOR and NDB and manually managing the four finicky power plants. It is hard work but the DC-8 will reward you with great handling.

    FSPS - FFTF Dynamic for P3Dv3

    FSPS announces that FFTF Dynamic is now available for P3Dv3. FFTF (Fiber Frame Time Fraction) actually determines the maximum amount of time per frame that will run fiber jobs on the primary thread. Performance of the flight simulator is greatly affected by the amount of time CPU spending between foreground operation and background data scenery loading.
